Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the table to eight points after overcoming Crystal Palace 4-1 at the Emirates on Sunday.
The visitors almost took a shock lead when Wilfried Zaha saw his effort cannon fall back from the post early on, but Arsenal began to step up a gear as the first half wore on and opened a decisive lead thanks to strikes from Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
Granit Xhaka made it three shortly after half-time but Palace briefly threatened to come back as Jeffrey Schlupp pulled one back and then Zaha went close again. However, Saka put the game to bed with a compound finish from the reduction of Kieran Tierney to keep Arsenal’s title charge firmly on track.
