A photojournalist who broke his arm while being chased by two British filmmakers in Buenos Aires over the weekend has claimed actress Margot Robbie singled him out for a beating.

Grainy CCTV footage apparently shows the moment Pedro Alberto Orquera was chased by British film producer Josey MacNamara and key handle Jac Hopkins, who took umbrage with the paparazzo when they spotted him taking pictures of starlet friends Robbie and Cara Delevingne as they left a celebrity restaurant at 3am on Sunday morning.

Orquera, 61, said the couple chased him outside the restaurant, trying to smash his camera before knocking it over onto the concrete.

He suffered multiple cuts and badly broke his arm in the attack and has now claimed the Australian glam star ordered his friends to hunt him down.

“Ms Robbie, whom I was able to identify, touched one of her security guards on the shoulder and pointed at me. That’s when several people beat me and the chase started,” he told The Sun.

“My life was saved by a miracle, I don’t know what would have happened if I fell face first to the ground, with the speed at which these people were chasing me,” Orquera said, separately addressing the point. of Argentinian sales TN.

The CCTV clip that emerged yesterday showed a man dressed in black running away from a second man in a white top.

The pursuer appears to kick his fleeing victim, causing him to lose his balance and crash to the ground, narrowly avoiding an oncoming vehicle – although there is no video of the kicks. ‘Orquera claims to have suffered.

However, photojournalist Matias Morla’s lawyer told The Sun that a trial will push Robbie to be a defendant rather than a witness, given his active involvement in ordering his fellow Britons to prosecute his client.

MacNamara and Hopkins were arrested by police and questioned following the act of assault, while Robbie and Delevingne fled the scene.

After spending a night in the cells, the filmmakers emerged yesterday with coats thrown over their heads to protect their faces, and were ushered by cops into a waiting car which whisked them away.

Morla told The Sun the couple had been charged with causing ‘intentional serious bodily harm’ and had their passports stripped.

Meanwhile, Orquera has been placed in a neck brace and stretched out at nearby Argerich Hospital in the Argentine capital, where he remains after initial treatment and awaits surgery.

The impact of the fall shattered his right arm and he suffered a series of lacerations.

“I started running away from them because they were hitting me,” Orquera told The Sun. “While I was running away from them they kicked me hard, my camera flew away and I fell to the ground and injured my arm.”

Witnesses reportedly called emergency services when the altercation broke out after it became clear that Orquera had suffered a nasty injury.

The A-list actresses were getting into a car outside celebrity Argentine chef Francis Mallmann’s restaurant around 3am on Sunday morning when the incident involving Orquera occurred.

The photojournalist’s presence angered MacNamara and Hopkins, who harassed him and eventually caught up with the fleeing paparazzo, knocking him off balance and sending him crashing to the ground.

Orquera told TN that he was able to protect his equipment and the prized snaps he took, but at considerable cost.

‘They never took my gear…when I fell down [the camera] was broken but I was able to salvage the material.

He said his arm was badly injured and it is unclear whether he will regain full use of his limb.

“I have a cast on my right arm, my arm is very compromised and I don’t know if I’m going to lose it,” he said.

Meanwhile, police took the British filmmakers for questioning, after which they appeared in court on the orders of the prosecutor’s office for causing “serious bodily harm”.

A police report seen by The Sun shows MacNamara and Hopkins told officers that Orquera was “responsible for her own injuries” because the two actresses had not given consent to be photographed.

Meanwhile, Robbie and Delevingne opted to leave the filmmakers behind, flying to southern Argentina just hours after the attack.

Orquera has confirmed that he plans to take legal action against his attackers, alleging that the injuries he suffered as a result of their attack will prevent him from being able to work.

‘The most unfortunate thing [about the attack] is that it leaves me immobile, unable to work or move,” Orquera said.

“I won’t be able to do any more work and I don’t know if I’ll get my arm back the way it should be.”

MailOnline has approached Robbie and Delevingne to comment on the alleged incident.

Margot Robbie was spotted on the verge of tears as she left a West Hollywood home in September just hours after meeting Cara Delevingne in Los Angeles. It comes amid rumors that Delevingne is experiencing health issues following a string of absences from big events and erratic behavior

The starlets reportedly became close in 2016 when they worked on the DC comic book-inspired film Suicide Squad, in which Robbie, 32, gained considerable notoriety for his portrayal of the racy Harley Quinn while Delevingne played a character named Enchantress.

The couple had traveled to Argentina after attending fashion week events in Paris early last week, and Robbie was spotted in Argentina on Friday, stopping to take pictures with fans.

The attack on Orquera during the starlets’ stay in Argentina comes less than a month after Robbie was pictured leaving her close friend’s West Hollywood home, apparently in tears, amid rumors that British model Delevingne was struggling with health problems.

Delevingne, 30, failed to show up at the launch of her fashion collection honoring late designer Karl Lagerfeld, held at the chic Saga restaurant in New York’s financial district in early September.

Delevingne was also not present at the Emmys on Sept. 13, where her castmates on the series Only Murders in the Building were nominated for a series of awards.

A source close to the Delevingne family told The Sun that the star has been struggling and “burning the candle at both ends” lately.
