These are the Queen Consort’s favorite shoes – comfortable anti-bunion shoes that British makers, Sole Bliss, claim to have worn over 80 times.
And now, a host of celebrities are following in Camilla’s footsteps, but with a more glamorous twist.
Instead of the Queen Consort’s best-loved Valencia pumps, stars including Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman have started wearing the brand’s shoes – complete with 5-inch platform heels.
When Ms Colman, 49, walked the red carpet on Tuesday for the premiere of the upcoming BBC series Great Expectations, she paired her navy lace Vampire’s Wife dress with a silver Louboutin clutch. But peeping from the hem of the sequin dress were a pair of £199 heels.
She certainly looked more comfortable than when she was photographed by The Mail on Sunday at the premiere of her film The Lost Daughter in 2021, barefoot and wearing her £895 Jimmy Choo stilettos.

Her stylist, Miranda Almond, also seems to have discovered the 5in Remy platforms, which come in six colors – including Ms Colman’s silver suede and snakeskin.
Sole Bliss claims the contour of its shoes around the bunions, as well as cushioned soles, wide widths and deeper toes to support the arches. They also contain a device to prevent pronation – the inward rolling of the feet.
Actress Julia Roberts wore gold Remy platforms to the Ticket To Paradise movie premiere in October. The shoes were apparently so comfortable that she wore them again to the Critics’ Choice Awards in January.
Since then, Countryside presenter Anita Rani and actress Viola Davies have both worn them at last month’s Baftas. and Dame Helen Mirren wore a pair to the premiere of her film Shazam! in Rome this month.

“I believe that all women deserve beautiful shoes, whether or not you have foot pain.”
Podiatrist Dr Brad Schaeffer, from the TV show My Feet Are Killing Me, said: “When it comes to wearing high heels, there are some things you need to look out for to protect your feet.”
‘Look for shoes with a wide toe box, arch support, supportive footbed, and lots of underfoot cushioning. These shoes tick all those boxes.
