Chelsea’s latest £88million signing has apologized after he used the n-word in a TikTok video filmed for his fans.
Mykhailo Mudryk was filmed repeating the racial slur in the footage, which has been viewed by almost 214,000 people, but even though he insists he was trying to recite the words to a song by popular rap, he issued a creeping apology.
According to sources, the 22-year-old was trying to recite American rapper Lil Baby’s 2017 hit, Freestyle.
But the Ukraine winger has come under fire online for using language in the clip ‘regardless of context’.

The clip has since been deleted.
The 40-second clip shows Mudryk in front of an Audi sports car with a friend as they repeat a line from the hit song, which features the n-word 16 times.
Anti-racism football group Kick It Out condemned the use of the word in the clip.
“Kick It Out condemns the use of all racial slurs, including the N-word, in any context,” he said.

The Ukraine winger has come under fire online for using language in the clip ‘regardless of context’.
“The N-word is deeply offensive and the use of this term by football personalities can only serve to drive people away from the game.
“It is important that footballers use their important platform in a positive way, and we are encouraged to see that Mykhailo Mudryk has acknowledged the harm caused by his use of this attacking insult.”
MailOnline has contacted a representative of Mykhailo Mudryk for comment.
