Several workers at a Mississippi daycare center are under fire after a video shows them using a terrifying Halloween mask to torture “evil” children.
The videos surfaced earlier this week on social media showing several workers attempting to scare children into behaving better in a ‘hideous’ act on innocent children.
One of the videos circulating widely online shows a daycare worker telling the masked woman to avoid certain toddlers who have been “behaving nicely”, saying “don’t catch her”.
The children can be seen sobbing as the woman moves through several classrooms, yelling and yelling at the children.
A little girl who was trying to eat her lunch got scared when a teacher wearing a scary Halloween mask approached her and yelled in her face
The daycare worker terrorized the group of children, who are all believed to be under the age of five due to their daycare status
The video which is over two minutes long shows the woman at one point leaning towards a child who was “bad” and asking “are you bad? Should I take you outside?
The child, visibly upset and trying to hide his face from the masked woman, shouts “no” and shakes his head at her question.
Despite his response, the woman screams directly into the young boy’s face before yelling “you better be good”.
The educator then changes class as the children in the first room continue to cry, telling the second group of children “you better be ready”.
At least three children can be seen trying to hide behind a shelf as the woman knocks on the door.

After yelling at the first little girl, the teacher went around the table to scare the rest of the children inside the class

The children looked terrified, even after the woman left the room
In one video, the daycare worker walked right into a young boy’s face and asked if he was going to keep being mean, yelling at the boy as he sobbed.
When she enters the room, the three children start screaming and crying. She approaches the children and then chases the crying one and runs away.
After ordering the children to “clean up”, she yells at them, causing their sobs to become more audible.
In another video, this one only 25 seconds long, the educator behind the mask shouts at a table of children who appear to be having lunch.
The woman screams directly into a little girl’s face, causing the child to jump and shiver in terror.
She walks away then comes back to the young girl, screaming again, before going around the table.
Another video shows a child covering his ears as the woman screams, and another shouting “mom” as the worker continues to terrorize the group.

A child tried to run away from the woman, prompting her to chase him as he screamed and cried before finally catching him.
A daycare worker who claims to have filmed the videos shared a lengthy response on Facebook on Thursday, saying she recorded the incidents not because she thought it was funny, but because she was trying to show parents the actions of his colleagues.
Jennifer Kayla Newman said on Facebook that she had no plans to make a statement initially, but due to the video going viral, she felt the need to speak out.
“A few weeks ago some girls in daycare bought Halloween masks to scare the kids, they did it and I never got it on video,” she said.
The daycare worker went on to say that her idea to record stemmed from previous ‘slaps on the wrist’ that had been given to co-workers for issues she had reported to the owners without proof.
The woman was not afraid to approach the children who were terrified of her and tried to get away from her whenever they could.
A woman watched, telling the woman behind the mask which children were ‘good’ and ‘bad’ and therefore worth fearing
The daycare worker behind the mask repeatedly asks another worker to clarify which kids deserved to be scared of being ‘bad’ in one of the videos
“When I heard she was going to do it again I recorded to get the proof and then the video was sent to the parents to show them how their child was being treated,” the woman wrote.
“I didn’t film this for bullshit and laughs.” It wasn’t funny to me. It didn’t amuse me. The one screaming in the children’s faces is NOT me. The one standing next to the screaming girl is NOT me. That laugh in the video is NOT me,’ Newman posted on Facebook.
She also said calling the cops “would have been useless” without proof and the cameras inside the daycare center weren’t working.
This is what prompted her to act herself.
The statement, posted with mixed reactions, by Jennifer Kayla Newman on Facebook on Thursday
‘I have nothing to hide. I did what I thought was best at that time. MAYBE, I didn’t handle it 100% the way I should have, but my intentions were good,’ Newman said Thursday.
The daycare worker even added that those who shamed her for recording it should feel bad “because if it wasn’t for me and another colleague, it probably would have happened tomorrow as well.”
DailyMail.com attempted to contact Lil’ Blessings Childcare but received no response or statement from authorities.
Monroe County officials say they are investigating videos from inside the daycare center
Calls have also been made to law enforcement officials in Monroe County, Mississippi, the county where the daycare is located, but have not been returned as of press time.
In a statement posted to Facebook on Thursday, officials said they were investigating the incident.
‘The Monroe County, MS Sheriff’s Department is aware of the Hamilton Daycare video and is working with the county attorney to see if there are any possible criminal charges that can be filed,’ a message said.
