A former Premier League star has been arrested in Ireland after being found with £4,000 worth of cocaine in his car, it has been reported.
The former footballer was reportedly involved in a car chase with police before he was arrested and held in Dublin’s Crumlin area last night.
The Irish sportsman was arrested for drug possession and dangerous driving and was released from Crumlin Garda station, The Irish Mirror reported.
A file will now be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
