Gethin Jones is a Welsh TV presenter who took part in Strictly Come Dancing 16 years ago.
And on Friday, an emotional Gethin, 45, wiped away tears when told he had raised over £1million for Comic Relief through his 24-hour danceathon.
The BBC Morning Live host strutted his way through the night – while wearing various costumes, including as Pixar’s Mr. Incredible – in a bid to raise funds, which continue to climb.
Gethin was joined on the daytime show by his co-stars Kimberley Walsh and Helen Skelton live for the final countdown to complete his charity danceathon.
Golden confetti rained down on them after the ticker ended, and he told viewers, “This celebration sums it all up. All of the posts overnight have been phenomenal.

Choking, Gethin began to cry, gushing out, “This is going to change lives. It will save lives. I’ve always said it, I’m so proud.
The Cardiff-born presenter – who has just been announced as an ambassador for GO Outdoors – was surrounded by colleagues who cheered on his impressive achievement.
Gethin then collapsed on the floor after completing his physically grueling 24-hour danceathon.
Prior to his TV fundraiser, he told Metro: “As a child, I used to walk the streets for Children In Need and raise money for Comic Relief at school, so being asked to do one of their big challenges is a real privilege.
“Dancing is fun, but being awake for 24 hours is a challenge. Moving for 24 hours… back, ankle injuries, all those things could come back to it. So it’s going to become a bit of a mental challenge.
“I train pretty hard, I do a variety of things. I’m actually training for a little physical challenge at the end of April, which is a lot of core strength.
“There’s a lot of sledding and burpees, pushing and pulling things and running, and stuff like that. So in terms of physical fitness, I’m pretty good! »
