A 15-year-old girl has died after being hit by a bus in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police (WMP) said the bus driver was assisting with investigations into the collision at Sheaf Lane, Sheldon, just before 3pm on Saturday.
The teenager was confirmed dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Pc Gail Arnold, from WMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: ‘A young girl has tragically passed away and we will do everything we can to support her family during this deeply distressing time.
“We are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, and in particular anyone with dash cam footage.”
