A man who looks an awful lot like Elon Musk is being hunted down by police after a member of the public is racially abused.
Northumbria Police have taken to social media to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
An image of the person shows a white man, with dark brown hair, with extraordinarily similar facial features to the Tesla boss.

In a social media post, Northumbria Police said: ‘We are investigating a suspected hate crime in Northumberland and need your help.
“A 28-year-old man has been reported to be in Forum Way shopping center when he was racially assaulted by a member of the public nearby.
“The victim was upset by the incident and contacted the police.
“Inquiries are ongoing and as part of our investigation we have identified a man who we would like to speak to.
“He was in the area at the time and may have valuable information that can help our investigation.
“We want to reassure the public that racism will not be tolerated and that steps will be taken to bring offenders to justice.”

The alleged hate crime took place at the Forum Way shopping center in Cramlington on December 16 at 7.30pm.
Social media users were quick to point out how much the man looks like the CEO of Twitter.
One person joked: ‘Has anyone contacted Elon Musk for a comment?
Another user commented: “Are you @elonmusk?”
Another replied: “Escaped in a Tesla”, with a laughing face emoji.
Anyone who thinks they know the man in question is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell us something’ page on their website or by calling 101 quoting crime number 147704P/22.
