The Princess of Wales once again showed off her thrifty style choices, recycling a pair of earrings to attend an event in central London tonight.
Kate Middleton, 41, donned a stunning pair of £75 earrings from CHALK’s ‘Regency’ collection, for tonight’s launch event for her Shaping Us Early Years campaign at BAFTA.
The royal, who was accompanied by her husband Prince William, 40, looked confident in the ‘Florence’ earrings, described by the London brand as part of a ‘timeless collection’.
CHALK is a London-based design studio led by architect Malaika, offering unusual, geometric and wearable shapes.

CHALK’s website says of the earrings: “The regal forms of ornate detailing and geometry found in the Royal Opera House Main Stage auditorium ceiling have been re-imagined throughout this collaboration. to create a timeless collection.”
Kate paired the striking earrings with a monochrome crimson outfit – a tailored red pantsuit, with matching heeled pumps and clutch. His Alexander McQueen suit exuded elegance with its leg-lengthening silhouette in Italian red crepe.
She wore the outfit to attend the launch of her Shaping Us Early Years campaign, which aims to increase public understanding of the crucial importance of the first five years of a child’s life.
Run by the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, the campaign aims to “transform the issue from scientific interest to one of the most strategically important topics of our time”.

The royal wore the earrings ahead of a series of engagements held to mark Windrush Day in June 2022.
On this occasion, she also associated the jewel with a Alexander McQueen suit.
She upcycled the £1,370 white Alexander McQueen blazer she wore in Jamaica on her Caribbean tour and teamed it with £590 crepe slim fit trousers and Mulberry’s small Amberley shoulder bag in white .
Tonight’s BAFTA event, which was hosted by Kate Silverton, featured short speeches from the Princess of Wales, Amanda Berry, Chief Executive of the Royal Foundation, and campaign champion Rochelle Humes.

A short film was shown highlighting how babies and children develop in response to their early experiences.
The screening was followed by a Q&A session between Eamon McCrory, Professor of Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology, University College London and Dr Guddi Singh, Pediatrician and Health Campaigner.
After the speeches, the Prince and Princess of Wales enjoyed an aperitif with campaign stakeholders, including members of the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood advisory group and representatives from the early years sector.
The Princess spoke about the campaign in an open letter published in the Mail yesterday Sunday, in which she set out her plan to ‘shape us’.
She wrote the impassioned plea on her laptop as she prepared for the campaign launch, which begins with a week-long advertising blitz, including tonight’s event at BAFTA.
The Princess explained in her letter that “as a society we are currently devoting much more time and energy to the future life, adding: ‘I am absolutely determined that this long-term campaign will change that.
