Love Island’s Samie Elisihi and Tom Clare are surprised friends and family with a welcome home party… after confirming if they’re still ‘official’
They returned to the UK earlier this week after coming third in the Love Island final on Monday night.
And it was a warm welcome for Tom Clare and Samie Elishi as they were surprised by friends and family on Friday night.
The footballer, 23, and the estate agent, 22, were overwhelmed when friends filmed them walking into the surprise party – which featured their initials in giant light up letters.
Co-star Claudia Fogerty even made an appearance at the party as she reunited with her friends after being dumped from the island ahead of the finale.
Tom also took the opportunity the next morning to respond if he had made things official yet with Samie, confirming that even if he hadn’t yet, she would soon be his girlfriend.

A large group of Tom and Samie’s loved ones got together to throw them the homecoming party, leaving the young couple overwhelmed.
Decorating a venue for the party, a giant “S” and “T” in bright letters sat in one corner, alongside an extravagant balloon arch and neon sign that read “Crazy in Love.”
Many also filmed their arrival as the couple walked upstairs to see all of their guests waiting, greeting everyone with shocked faces and hugs.
Claudia also surprised the couple, who left the villa before the last week in a quadruple shock dump.
As she made her way to the party, Tom and Samie were shocked – the latter placing a hand over her mouth before running to hug her boyfriend.
Sharing a video of the moment on her Instagram Stories, Claudia wrote: ‘Surprise @samieelishi @tomclare I wouldn’t miss your homecoming party for the world. I love you both so much and I’m so proud of you.”
The next morning, Tom took to his own stories to answer some questions from fans while Samie drove the couple on a roadtrip.
Asked by a follower if he was shocked to see Claudia back at the party, Tom replied, “Best surprise, she’s a top girl.”

Many were eager to find out if Tom and Samie, who declared themselves lovers at the Love Island villa and described themselves as “exclusive”, were still officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
To clear things up, the footballer told the camera: ‘Samie will be my girlfriend very soon. %”.
Tom and Samie managed to make it all the way to the finals and place third, despite both arriving as bomb contenders.
But ultimately they lost to winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and placed just behind runners-up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins.
The duo are set to reunite with the entire cast of Love Island on Sunday night’s reunion episode of the show, which will see them sit down with host Maya Jama – a week after leaving the villa.
