Married At First Sight fans suggest the reality series has suffered a major blow ahead of the season premiere next week.
Promotions for the planned season are well and truly underway with explosive trailers and first-look posters released in the days leading up to Monday night’s premiere episode.
But some eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but notice one specific detail in recent photographs of the bride and groom.

In a popular Facebook group called Tea Time, a woman shared a series of side-by-side images of brides Tahnee Cook and Bronte Schofield, and groom Harrison Boon.
The images on the left showed MAFS participants with a grey-blue appearance and were the unedited photos from the official release.
The images on the right showed a “quick two-second temperature change” to highlight a simple tool that makes skin tone look warmer in photos.
“So the new cast of MAFS has been announced and I predict that there have been significant budget cuts to the show,” the woman wrote.

“Not all of their photos have been color corrected and look like they are frozen,” she added, noting that the photos gave the contestants more of a “blue tone” rather than just appearing pale.
The woman didn’t alter or airbrush any of the competitors features and just added more yellow tones.
‘Wow yeah I’m kinda shocked they posted these pictures? Your color corrections are so much better,” one woman commented on the post.

‘OMG the audacity of Channel 9!’ another wrote, adding a facepalm emoji.
‘They just uploaded the raw footage haha yikes!!!’ one said.
It comes after Married At First Sight boss Tara McWilliams, who is credited with transforming the experience into the ratings juggernaut it is today, insisted he n There was no “wicked editing” in the show and that any negative storyline is just the result of “bad choices”.
“I don’t think anyone is a villain. They’re not storybook characters, they’re real people who sometimes misbehave,” McWilliams told Daily Mail Australia.

According to sources, a groom has once been labeled ‘worse than Bryce’, while another groom accuses each other of ‘gaslighting’ and playing mind games.

“Gaslighting comes up again, but other things about how people treat each other in relationships, which to us — we think we’ve seen it all — is shocking…” McWilliams told Variety la last week.
“If we’re still shocked, then you know the content is pretty cheeky,” she continued.
“We still have scandals, but scandals that you haven’t seen. And that’s what I love about it, the reality that the gods have really smiled on us,” she added.
Married At First Sight returns to Channel Nine on Monday January 30 at 7:30 p.m.

The tenth season of Married at First Sight will feature some of the show’s hottest cast when it launches later this month.
