Michelle Heaton broke down in tears as she hit the rink for the first time during the first episode of Dancing On Ice on Sunday.
The singer, 43, spoke candidly about her ‘second chance’ on the show after her battle with drug and alcohol addiction, before becoming emotional again after a series of disappointing scores put her at the bottom of the charts.
Despite the dance featuring a wide range of lifts, Michelle appeared to take a number of missteps as the nerves seemed to get the better of her.

“A few years ago I was up for Dancing On Ice and I just wasn’t in any shape to do it. Yeah, that’s a lot. So yeah, it’s really surreal to be here.
Last year, the singer admitted she had ‘given up on life’ before seeking treatment with a 28-day stint in rehab the year before.
Speaking to Closer magazine, the mother-of-two said the worst part about her alcoholism was what she put her husband Hugh Hanley and their two children Faith, 11, and AJ, nine, through.

“I didn’t care if I lost my family or my friends, it was just a question of where the next drink would come from. My skin was gray, I was exhausted, and my body was completely unrecognizable and bloated.
She has completely changed her life and is now keeping her followers up to date with her workout at the gym.
