“I had given up on life,” she told the magazine, explaining, “At my lowest I would wake up in the morning and pray for someone to help me or I just wanted to die.”

“I didn’t care if I lost my family or my friends, it was just a question of where the next drink would come from. My skin was gray, I was exhausted, and my body was completely unrecognizable and bloated.
