Never step on a Lego again! Mom shares 'awesome' $99 vacuum that sucks up plastic toy

Lego vacuum cleaner is making netizens gaga after it goes viral for its ability

A Lego vacuum cleaner is making netizens gaga after it went viral for its “impressive” ability to suck up plastic bricks, ensuring you’ll never have to feel the excruciating pain of stepping on it again.

LaTreese Atkins, a 25-year-old mom from California, went viral after she shared a TikTok video of Amazon’s handy device that collects Lego bricks, making every parent’s job easier.

The video has been viewed more than 1.2 million times since posting it to her more than 400,000 followers earlier this month.

The $99 machine, aptly named “Pick Up Bricks,” has a mechanism that sorts debris and toys into different areas for easy cleanup after playtime — and more importantly, keeps you from getting Lego prints on your feet.

“Never step on a Lego again,” the mother-of-one wrote on her viral post, praising the machine for its sorting ability.

“It separates the Legos from dirt and dust,” she said, showing herself using the machine as she vacuumed up the little toys.

In an interview with Today, LaTreese said she discovered the device on TikTok and bought it to help clean up mountains of Legos left behind by her two-year-old daughter, Yara.

“The first day I got it she would use it, then she would open it up, pour out the Legos and vacuum again. Now it’s a fun activity for her,” the mother said.

LaTreese purchased his machine from Amazon, but, according to the website, it appears the device is “currently unavailable.” It is unclear if or when he will return.

Social media users couldn’t contain their excitement over the small but mighty machine and gushed about it in the comments.

“I need this lol,” said one user.

Another added: “Now that’s great.”

“That’s so cool,” someone else said.

While most social media users were impressed with the machine, some criticized the mum and claimed that if her kids can’t clean the Legos, they shouldn’t have any.

One user said: “Umm.. just pick them up.”

Another added: ‘Or, here (sic) me, if your kid can’t pick them up and figure out why we don’t leave Lego (sic) on the floor then maybe they shouldn’t have any Legos, just an idea but.’

‘Ah solutions to problems we don’t have. Ask the children to clean up after themselves. Make better adults in the future,” someone else wrote.

But LaTresse told Today she’s “used” to reviews, as she frequently reviews products on her page and noted that even detractors help “increase views.”

Although you can no longer purchase the machine from Amazon, you can still purchase it from the company’s website.
