Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drop another Netflix trailer

Harry and Meghan today released a second trailer for their Netflix documentary which has thrown a fresh volley of beards against the Royal Family, with the Duke concluding the clip by warning: ‘No one knows the whole truth – we know the whole truth”.

In a minute-long video that will horrify courtiers, Harry lashed out at ‘family hierarchy’ and claims insiders ‘leaked and planted’ stories about him and Meghan, describes royal life as a ‘ dirty game” and – after the images appear showing his mother, Princess Diana – speaks of “the pain and suffering of women who marry in this institution”.

An expert describes the couple’s experience as ‘about hate, about race’ as a surprisingly intimate scene emerges of an exasperated Harry, 38, holding a hand to his face as Meghan walks past behind him while she is heavily pregnant with their daughter, Lili.

The behind-the-scenes Netflix docuseries will debut on December 8, Netflix confirmed today.

In today’s teaser clip, Harry says: “It’s really hard to look back now and say ‘what happened?

“There’s a family hierarchy, you know, there’s leaks, but there’s also story planting. It’s a dirty game.

“The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy. I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.

“Nobody knows the whole truth. We know the whole truth.

While the Duchess kept her pregnancy with her daughter incredibly private at the time, sharing only a few images, two snaps from the period appeared in trailers for the new documentary.

Billed as a Netflix global event, the streaming giant has announced that Volume I will be released on December 8 while Volume II will air on December 15.

The Royal Family have tried to put on a brave face in recent days by insisting they will not be ‘misled’ by the documentary.

Contrary to claims that there are behind-the-scenes ‘crisis talks’ and plans to ‘fight back’ to another barrage of claims and accusations, senior royals are planning a ‘business as usual’ approach.

“We are not going to be deflected by squalls across the Atlantic,” a royal source told the Daily Mail witheringly.

The Mail on Sunday reported yesterday how the King and Queen consort were ‘tired’ from the constant attacks from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Buckingham Palace sources said there was ‘increasing frustration and exhaustion’ at the deluge of complaints Harry and Meghan are making relentlessly and publicly about their alleged treatment by senior royals.

The late Queen made it clear that ‘recollections may vary’ on many of the couple’s claims – and that view has not changed.

In all the royal houses, there is a sense of “here we go again” over the course of the series.

But there is hope in the family that the ‘Sussex flurry’ will die out on its own at the end of the series and Harry’s next memoir will be published in January.

“It’s probably going to be a tough few weeks, but really after that, what more can they have to say?” another insider asked.

“It’s all going to start to become a very ‘end of the pier’ show if they’re not careful, peddling the same complaints on talk shows and documentaries.

“Surely a time will come when even they will realize that they have to get on with their lives? The rest of the family certainly wants it.

Indeed, the king and queen consort have a busy week ahead of them with several important and long-planned engagements. Tomorrow, the monarch is in Luton to meet community leaders and voluntary organizations that promote interfaith harmony, which he has promoted for more than 50 years.

At Luton Town Hall he will reunite with Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner Festus Akinbusoye, who was previously supported by his Prince’s Trust.

Her Majesty will also visit the new Sikh Guru Nanak Gurdwara, addressing the volunteers and learning about their programs for the community.

On Wednesday, the Queen Consort will invite critically ill and terminally ill children from Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl’s Marvelous Children’s Charity to decorate the Clarence House Christmas tree.

She organizes the magical event every year, personally serving sausages and mash to the youngsters and this year organized a surprise visit from Santa Claus and his reindeer. “Their Majesties take care of what is important,” a source added.

Royal sources told the Mail on Sunday that Charles and Camilla were ‘not worried but tired’ of the Duke and Duchess’ continued outbursts.

Since leaving the royal family and moving to California, they have criticized the royal family in interviews, including a high-profile show with Oprah Winfrey, and taped the Netflix series.
