Fears continue to grow for a 12-year-old girl, who has now been missing for four days from her home in Ayr, on the southwest coast of Scotland.
Jamie-Lee Harvey was last seen on Tuesday afternoon, boarding a train from the city’s station heading for Glasgow.
Police have renewed their appeal for the public’s help in locating the schoolgirl, who they believe may have gotten off the train earlier as she is known to hang out in the Irvine, Kilwinning and Saltcoats areas.
A search is ongoing in Ayrshire and officers from Glasgow and British Transport Police have also been notified in case she travels to the bustling city, where she often visits the Union Street area.
She was wearing black clothes including a quilted jacket, jumper, leggings and trainers when she was last seen around 3.30pm on March 14 at Ayr station.

Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating 12-year-old Jamie-Lee Harvey (pictured) who is currently missing in Ayr, on the south-west coast of Scotland.
Jamie-Lee is described as 5 feet tall, medium build, with long light brown hair.
Irvine Police Station Inspector Alex Beagrie said: “Although Jamie-Lee has been reported missing before, she has never been away for this long.”
“She is only 12 and has not been seen since Tuesday.
‘We are very worried. A search and investigation is underway to find her as soon as possible to ensure that she is safe and healthy.
Police have urged anyone who has seen Jamie-Lee since Tuesday morning or has information about his whereabouts to contact them as soon as possible via 101, citing incident number 2277 from March 14.
