A single mother has been fined £300 after neighbors complained of loud sex noises which ‘sounded like a porn movie’.

Kristin Morgan, 41, from Llay, Wrexham, has also been asked to apply for a grant to insulate her home to help stop the noise.

Morgan admitted four offenses but blamed his son and his girlfriend for the troubles.

A neighbor who lives near the house said it initially ‘looked like a porn movie’ coming from the upstairs bedroom, but ‘then people realized it was actually real’, reported The Sun.

At a hearing at Wrexham Magistrates’ Court, the breaches admitted by carer Morgan all related to failing to comply with a abatement order ordering her to stop the noise ‘created by clearly audible vocalisations linked to love and loud conversations late at night and early in the morning’.

Morgan’s son Aled, 23, said the situation had been a “nightmare” and the family hadn’t wanted to upset anyone.

Morgan’s father, son, and teenage daughter lived on the property.

Neighbors said they had repeatedly complained to the council as the noise was occurring during the lockdown and it was ‘making some people quite upset’.

They added that the family had received several warnings “but nothing happened” and that locals hoped the court’s decision “will put an end to everything”.

The offenses extended from December 26, 2021 to April 4.

Prosecutor Louise Edwards, of Wrexham County Borough Council, said following a party at the property in July 2020 the authority first became aware of noise concerns.

Miss Edwards said neighbors had numerous records of noise issues at the property and despite warning letters and advice given to the family, there were further complaints, North Wales Live reported.

A law enforcement officer had suggested that Morgan swap rooms with his son and his girlfriend, but after that the noise continued, so neighbors installed noise monitors.

Miss Edwards said the noise monitor confirmed the loud noises of ‘sexual activity’ had continued.

She added: ‘Neighbors experienced noise disturbance for an unacceptable period which they described as a horrific experience which affected their health.

“They no longer feel happy in their own home and feel nervous.”

Morgan, who has represented herself in court, told magistrates she tried to save money to insulate her ‘dilapidated’ home.

She was fined £300 and will also have to pay £534 in costs.

Presiding judge Andrew Stubbs said it was clear the noise needed to stop, but they acknowledged Morgan had taken some action and she may be eligible for a grant to insulate the home.

Morgan’s son also faces four offenses under the Environmental Protection Act, but his case has been adjourned in his absence until October.
