A small hidden detail in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s brutal South Park teardown episode targets Meghan Markle’s relationship with Michelle Obama.
While not naming Harry and Meghan, the TV show portrays Canada’s fictional Prince and Princess – a young royal couple who repeatedly beg for privacy while drawing attention to themselves and who look suspiciously like the Duke and Duchess.
The red-haired prince and his wife, who wear the same dusty pink outfit Meghan donned for Trooping the Color in 2018, along with an almost identical hat that sits askew on her head, are promoting the prince’s book, Waaagh, the cover of which bears a strong resemblance to Harry Spare’s memoir.
In the episode, the pair embark on a “Worldwide Privacy Tour” showing the cartoon couple doing TV interviews before moving to South Park “for more privacy”.

To rehabilitate their image, the prince and princess of Canada seek the help of a brand management agency.
While there, viewers take a look at the Princess’ profile, which describes her as “a sorority girl, an actress, an influencer and a victim.”
This includes her interests including yoga, calligraphy, cooking, writing, lifestyle, advocacy, drama, blogging, and feminism.
The profile also lists the first lady’s suitor and bother lawyer.
The first refers to Meghan’s role in the legal drama Suits and the second seems to suggest she’s bothering former first lady Michelle Obama.
Harry has been close to the Obamas for several years and spoke at a summit for the Obama Foundation in November 2017.
They have also worked closely together, previously promoting the Invictus Games.
In 2018, it emerged that a pregnant Meghan had secretly attended Michelle Obama’s book event in London.
After the event, Meghan met Michelle backstage in what was described as a “power meeting”.
It was understood that the women discussed various topics during the “extensive private audience”, including pregnancy, raising a family and their shared interest in promoting girls’ education, the report said. Evening Standard.
But Tom Bower’s 2018 book – Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors – claimed Michelle was “alarmed” by Meghan’s attitude when they first met, according to Newsweek.
“The Duchess doesn’t seem to have appreciated how much the Obamas admire the Queen,” Tom wrote.
“Meghan’s attitude alarmed Michelle. Her advice to Meghan was spoken in public.

“Take time,” Obama said in an interview, “and don’t be in a rush to do anything.”
“In a note of warning, she added: ‘Like me, Meghan probably never dreamed she would have a life like this; disagree, the pressure you feel can sometimes seem like a lot.
Michelle also reacted to Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview in 2021, saying she personally chose to focus on the people she ‘serves’ rather than herself when she was in the public service in what appeared to be a thinly veiled jab at the couple.
Jenna Bush Hager asked the former first lady what she thought of Meghan’s comments in a segment that aired on NBC at the time.
“When you saw Meghan Markle speak, what crossed your mind?” Bush Hager asked.
Michelle replied, “The public service is a bright, sharp, burning spotlight and most people don’t understand that and neither should they.” What I always keep in mind is that none of this is about us, in public service, it’s about the people we serve.

In the latest episode of South Park, the Prince and Princess of Canada are also shown storming off on a TV show after being asked about their motives, before moving to South Park, with the Princess stating “If we moved here, people would think we ‘re really serious about wanting to be normal.’
But their arrival enrages the local community – especially main character Kyle, who lives across from them.
He complains about their private jet which is parked in front of the house and the prince playing polo on the lawn.
“They have this huge jet parked in front of my house and they keep wanting me to buy their book,” he complains to his friends: Kenny, Cartman and Stan.
The episode takes several thinly veiled jabs at the Sussexes, who embark on a ‘we want privacy’ world tour while shouting at bewildered locals, and seemingly mocking Harry’s frozen penis, which he detailed in his memoirs.
