There was a long awkward silence as Kochie and Natalie were unable to say anything as the camera turned to them.
The TV personality’s next line on the prompter was “Thank you, Mitch,” forcing Kochie to sound grateful for the insult as Healey snickered behind the camera.
Kochie is reportedly planning his retirement for the end of 2024 after 20 years on the air.

His departure will be gradual as he will reduce the number of his airtime days over the next two years until his contract expires.
This is so viewers won’t be “spooked” by his immediate departure.
Kochie signed a contract extension in October locking him in until the end of 2024 but negotiated “greater flexibility” in his schedule.

He signed the deal during a meeting with Seven Network CEO James Warburton, during which he expressed his interest in retiring.
Mr Warburton was able to convince Kochie to postpone his retirement plans for a further two years, but agreed to draw up a contract allowing the longtime presenter “to take more breaks from the show as needed”, said reported The Australian.
