The widow of tragic pop star Tom Parker has sought solace in a new man as she comes to terms with life without Tom, MailOnline has learned.

Mother-of-two Kelsey Parker, 32, has been mourning her husband, The Wanted Tom star, since losing him to cancer eight months ago and recently admitted life alone was “hard”.

But friends are delighted that actress Kelsey is eager and in the early stages of a relationship with electrician Sean Boggans, 39, after meeting him recently.

“We are just at the very beginning and no one knows what the future holds, but for now Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life,” a source said. .

Kelsey and father-of-two Sean are believed to have met when she was on a break with friends in Lindos, Rhodes in September.

Kelsey was joined by Vicky Pattison, Giovanna Fletcher and Pete Wicks as they aimed to ride 100km across the Sahara Desert over five days to benefit CoppaFeel!.

Speaking of the grueling CoppaTrek! adventure, Kelsey candidly said she needed to “focus her mind” after a tough year.

“I’ve never done anything like this before, but this is just the challenge I need to focus after a very tough year,” she said in a statement.

Kelsey took to her Instagram last month to share news of her new documentary, admitting it has been “really difficult” at times.

She revealed that she was currently in the middle of filming as she described it as a “roller coaster ride”, but shared her hope that the series could help other people.

She posted: “I am delighted to share with you that Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom will hit your screens later this year on ITV.

“A six-part observational documentary that follows me and my family over the past six months since Tom’s death. Obviously a very difficult film to make but one that I’m incredibly proud of.
