A woman accused of racially abusing a doorman at the Hippodrome casino will face trial in December.

Aysha Vohra, 26, allegedly called bouncer Tomas Ciba a “fucking Russian” and spat on him on May 20.

Vohra appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court wearing a blue dress and black jacket.

She denied one count of racially or religiously aggravated simple assault at the Charing Cross Road casino.

According to the prosecution, Mr Ciba was on duty as a doorman at the Hippodrome casino (pictured) when he was verbally assaulted and spat at.

It reads that Vohra made “several remarks about the ethnicity of the victim, before concluding that he was ‘fucking Russian and spitting on him’.”

Vohra, from Ilford, was released on bail ahead of her trial on December 1 at the City of London Magistrates’ Court on the condition that she does not attend the Hippodrome Casino.
